If you have received an e-mail from NCIDQ indicating that registration is open, follow these steps:
- 1. Log on to MyNCIDQ.
- If you do not know your username and/or password, use the password recovery link. Do NOT register as a first-time user. A MyNCIDQ account currently exists for you. Please call 202-721-0220 if you need additional assistance.
- If you applied through your state board or provincial association, please contact them for MyNCIDQ access assistance.
Once you have logged on to MyNCIDQ successfully, verify your personal information. NCIDQ is not responsible for misdirected or unopened postal mail or e-mail.
- 2. Click on the Exam Registration link located under “Exam Candidate” on the left side.
- 3. Under your "New Forms" tab, click on the link called Registration Form to begin the process. If you have already started registering for the Spring 2012 exam, your form will be under your "In-Process" forms tab and you will need to click "Edit" to make changes.
The Registration Form is one long form, so sure to scroll to the bottom to complete all the sections
- 4. Read and accept the Exam Confidentiality Agreement and the Statement of Responsibility by checking the boxes under each statement. (Please carefully read these agreements; you are attesting that you have read the Registration Guide among other things.)
If you click "Save & Quit," this form will be in your "In Process Forms" folder. You cannot continue the registration process until this entire page is completed.
- 5. Complete the Registration Questions.
- QUESTION 1--Choose which section(s) you wish to take. (You do not have to take all sections at the same time.)
- Previously passed section(s) will not appear on this page.
- You cannot register for future exams--only the current administration
- QUESTION 2--Choose your exam center location.
- QUESTION 3--If you require accommodations, please read this information. If not, skip this item.
If you click "Save & Quit," this form will be in your "In Process Forms" folder. You cannot continue the registration process until this entire page is completed.
Once you have completed these steps, click “Go to Next Step” to move to the payment screen.
- 6. Click on the "Go to Next Step" at either the top or bottom of the page.
- You will receive an email confirmation once this form is complete. NOTE: This is not your confirmation of registration.
- 7. Review your order and choose your payment option. Complete all the required information fields for the payment process. You may pay the registration fee by credit card or by mailed check.
- NCIDQ accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
- Note: Mailed checks require additional time to receive and process. Checks received by NCIDQ after the late registration deadline will not be processed and registration will not be complete. If you are paying by check, please review the specific instructions in the Registration Guide.
- 8. Click “Submit Order.” This will take you to the Payment Confirmation page where you must authorize the payment and complete your registration.
- 9. Click "Confirm Payment." If you do not click this button, your registration form will be moved to your "In Process Forms" folder and you will NOT be registered.
Once we have processed your payment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that we received your payment. This is your confirmation of a complete registration.
Note: You are not registered until you receive the processed payment e-mail. If you pay by check, your registration form will show as "Pending" in your In-Process Forms. Pending registrations do not qualify as completed registrations.
When your registration form and payment are processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Your registration is not complete until payment has been processed. Therefore, if you pay by check, please allow enough time for NCIDQ to receive and process your payment. If you miss the initial registration deadline, you may register by the late registration deadline for an additional fee. The late registration deadline is at least four weeks before the exam date. After the late deadline, registrations cannot be added or changed. View the Exam Dates & Deadlines Schedule for the current registration deadlines.
