Special Accommodations for the Exam

Following notification from NCIDQ that their exam application has been accepted, exam candidates with a condition covered by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) and other applicable laws in the United States and Canada may apply for test accommodations. Please review NCIDQ's Test Accommodation Guidelines below before you apply.

If you wish to request accommodations, download and complete the Application for Test Accommodations. The accommodations application and all required documentation must be submitted by the late registration deadline of the exam period that you wish to be tested.

Please note: Candidates must re-submit their request for accommodations each time they register for an exam. Previously granted requests do not constitute a guarantee of future accommodations.

Courtesy Accommodations

Candidates with other special needs that are not generally covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act—such as pregnancy or diabetes as well as requests for alternate test dates for religious observances—shoud complete the Application for Courtesy Accommodations. The form and required documentation must be received by NCIDQ by the late registration deadline and specify the type of accommodation(s) requested and reasons the accommodation is needed.
